Last semester she was awarded a research position in the Space Propulsion Lab where she worked on more efficient fuel sources for satellites. This spring, she was appointed president of the M.I.T. chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), and she was also elected Internal Vice President of the M.I.T. chapter of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES).
