Tobi completed her studies at Harvard University in May 2009, and concentrated in Biology with a minor in Health Policy and a citation in Spanish. She was the freshman representative for the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers, a former co-director for the Pan African Dance and Music Ensemble, and a former co-director of the Suffolk County Prison Tutoring program. In addition to her activities on the Harvard AIDS Coalition, she tutored in the AVID program at a high school near Harvard and participated in a volunteer health care consulting group. She also worked as a student researcher in Partners AIDS Research Institute at MGH and was published as a co-author in the Journal of Infectious Diseases. In 2010, she worked as an associate consultant at Bain & Company while applying to medical school. She is currently in her 2nd year of an MD/MBA program at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School.
